Rayna Milfort
Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Rayna is a passionate advocate for housing justice and community empowerment. She is the Director of Housing Advocacy & Community Engagement at Miami Homes For All, where she leads efforts to advance affordable housing policy, strengthen partnerships, and drive community engagement across Greater Miami.
With a background in victim advocacy and community organizing, Rayna previously served at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, supporting survivors of domestic violence through crisis intervention and legal assistance. Her lifelong commitment to social justice extends well beyond her professional roles—she has long championed gender equity, having served as Vice President of the National Organization for Women at FIU, where she earned her B.A. in Women & Gender Studies and Sociology.
Fluent in English, French, and Creole, Rayna bridges diverse communities through policy advocacy, crisis intervention, and coalition-building. She is a Sant La Fellow, a Community Scholars in Affordable Housing Fellow, a Leadership Miami Class 46 Fellow, and a TED Talk speaker, further expanding her impact and voice throughout South Florida and beyond.
Her unwavering dedication to creating safe, inclusive, and resilient communities continues to shape her work and leadership throughout the region.
