Ray Taseff
Ray Taseff brought many years of litigation experience in civil rights and criminal defense cases when he joined FJI in 2018.
Upon graduation from Illinois State University and the Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1982, he began his career as a trial attorney with the Office of the Public Defender in Miami and has continued to practice criminal defense and civil rights litigation ever since.
Ray has taught as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami School of Law and at Florida International University. Ray is a member of the Florida, New York and District of Columbia Bars and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
